Babar Azam has sensationally quit his post as Pakistan’s white ball captain for the second time in a year. In less sensational, but probably more poignant news, Tim Southee has stepped down as New Zealand’s Test captain.
The ECB plans major salary hikes for The Hundred, including multi-year contracts worth up to £300,000 per season, and they are also going to start cracking down on English participation in foreign leagues (apart from the IPL).
The ongoing U19 red ball match between Australia and India has thrown up a couple of fascinating stories.
