The end of NZ’s golden generation, Zampa’s better than Warne, & finesse batters have struggled.
West Indies beat New Zealand by 13 runs, despite the Kiwis reducing them to 30-5 in the first innings. ESPNcricinfo’s Matt Roller first writes about the quick unravelling of New Zealand’s golden generation, then about how Trinidad have rallied around the victorious West Indies team.
England beat Oman by 8 wickets. They put to bed any controversies about their qualification by chasing down the Omani total of 47 in 3.1 overs. In the other game, Bangladesh beat The Netherlands by 25 runs.
