Roundup: Washing out the bad taste from Mulder’s declaration
Why is Mulder’s declaration irritating, Starc reaches 100 Tests, & is Mustafizur’s ODI career running out of steam?
Good morning!
I’ve been annoyed by Mulder for a couple of days, so I decided to dig through my feelings and write it out. And I realised I was annoyed because Mulder broke that basic unspoken sporting tenet; try your hardest. For the fans, for South Africa, for Brian Lara, but mostly for himself.
In other news, I’ve discovered a fantastic newsletter that seems to cover the very niche subject of Kiwi match reports. Go read Vincent Jones’ (very well written) review of the New Zealand Women A’s series of England. I know you haven’t heard of the series and don’t care about it, but it’s genuinely worth five minutes of your day.
