Overlap shouldn't have been started by Sky Cricket. The football version is already irritating and now, I don't think there will be much change in the cricket one as well
I still enjoy the football version honestly. More importantly, it's a very unique show in the world of (non-American) sport, so it's mind blowing that someone in the cricket media actually decided to try it out.
That being said - I do think the players they've chosen are wrong. I don't know how recognisable Tufnell/Bumble are for the younger audiences they're clearly trying to target, though Cook/Vaughan would be better with a good host. I would've brought on a few non-Englishman - the football version works because there are legends from multiple teams, appealing to fans from across the world.
Yes, the ppl are not right. I am not interested in listening to Michael Vaughan who is trying to become next Boycott and those English guys day in and day out. But, even if you bring others as well, it will be similar to what the cricket commentary is currently
