I have to admit, it feels to me like Afghanistan is not the same situation as South Africa. AFAIK, South Africa was a democracy throughout the apartheid so the boycott was justified to punish the white population for voting in governments that were pursuing racist policies. It's not really clear what the Afghan cricket authorities or the population can do here:)
